Are my images uploaded?
No. Files are read with browser APIs and processed locally with Canvas.
Which formats are supported?
The MVP accepts JPG, PNG and WebP files that your browser can decode.
Why did a PNG not get smaller?
PNG is lossless and Canvas encoders vary by browser. Try WebP or JPEG for photos.
Does this remove EXIF metadata?
Canvas re-encoding usually strips common camera metadata such as EXIF and GPS.
Can I compress very large images?
Large files may hit browser memory limits. Resize first or use smaller batches if processing fails.
