Is my video uploaded to the server?
No. The video file is read and converted in your browser. It is not uploaded to 100.tools.
Which video formats work best?
MP4 with H.264 video works best across browsers. WebM is also reliable. MOV and M4V can work when the browser can decode them.
Why is my GIF so large?
GIF is an old animation format and can become large quickly. Use a short clip, smaller width, lower FPS, and fewer colors.
Can I set a target file size?
Yes. The tool tries to approach the target by adjusting output settings, but very long or complex clips may still exceed it.
