What is this tool?

Background Color Remover turns white, solid-color or near-solid image backgrounds into transparent PNG files in your browser. It samples a background color, removes matching connected pixels and keeps the output downloadable as PNG.

Is this an AI background remover?

No. This MVP removes a chosen background color with Canvas. It works best for white, solid-color and studio-style backgrounds, not complex hair or natural scenes.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image is decoded and processed in your browser. The tool does not upload or store your file.

Why use connected background removal?
