FAQ
Does this support Chinese, Japanese and Korean?
Yes. The tool counts CJK characters or blocks as text units and still reports characters, sentences, paragraphs and timing.
Which readability formulas are used?
English text uses Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid Grade and Gunning Fog. Other languages use an approximate difficulty signal.
Is my text uploaded?
No. All counting and readability logic runs in the browser.
Why is the grade approximate?
Readability formulas are simplified estimates and cannot replace human editing, audience knowledge or domain context.
