UUID / GUID Batch Generator

Generate secure UUID v1, v4, or v7 batches locally, then copy or export them as TXT, CSV, or JSON.

Generated locally with your browser's cryptographic random source. Nothing is uploaded.

Generator settings

Choose the UUID version, quantity, representation, and letter case.

UUID version

Cryptographically random UUID for general-purpose identifiers.

Letter case

Generated identifiers

One identifier per line. Changing display options reformats the current batch.

UUID / GUID Batch Generator

Generate standards-compliant UUID v1, v4 and v7 identifiers in bulk without sending the generated values to a server.

Privacy

All UUIDs are generated in this browser and are not uploaded, stored or sent to an external API.

Features

  • UUID v1, v4 and v7 generation
  • Batches from 1 to 5,000 identifiers
  • Standard, GUID and compact representations
  • Copy all or export as TXT, CSV and JSON

How to use

  1. Choose a version

Use v4 for general random IDs, v7 for time-sortable IDs, or v1 when a time-based UUID is required.

  2. Set the batch

Choose the quantity, display representation and letter case.

  3. Generate locally

Create the batch with the browser cryptographic random source and verify uniqueness.

  4. Copy or export

Copy the visible list or download a TXT, CSV or JSON file.

FAQ

What is the difference between UUID and GUID?

GUID is Microsoft terminology for the same 128-bit identifier family. The brace display option changes representation, not the underlying value.

Which UUID version should I choose?

Use v4 for broadly compatible random identifiers. Use v7 when database index locality or chronological sorting matters. Use v1 only when a time-based format is required.

Does UUID v1 expose my MAC address here?

No. This generator creates a random session node ID and never reads the hardware MAC address. A v1 value still contains a creation timestamp.

Can generated UUIDs collide?

Collision is extremely unlikely with cryptographically secure v4 or v7 random bits, but no finite identifier space can promise mathematical impossibility. This tool also checks each generated batch for duplicates.
